Mit joined MAKE IT IN LA with the goal of growing manufacturing in Los Angeles. He truly believes that LA is a uniquely amazing city for manufacturing because of its world class talent, culture, and creativity. He is excited to make a meaningful contribution to this organization.

Early on, Mit started his career as a process engineer for Toyota where he learned and applied the Toyota Production System (TPS). He then joined an accelerated sales leadership program for Ingersoll Rand where he sold industrial equipment in the US and Mexico. Mit went on to lead operations improvement initiatives across 13 divisions of Zodiac Aerospace in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, and Tunisia. At Zodiac, Mit was promoted to direct manager for a group of 10 manufacturing engineers in product development and serial production.

After working for large corporations, Mit grew a passion for helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. He founded the Operations Development Group (ODG) with the goal of using continuous improvement principles to achieve business results. ODG has helped customers in software, medical devices, fashion, and construction develop profitable and sustainable businesses.

Mit holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

When not working, you can usually find Mit with his fiancée, traveling internationally and immersing themselves in the local culture.
