On May 31, 2019 local founders, creatives, tastemakers, local brands, manufacturers, and the business community opened their doors for behind-the-scenes factory tours, exclusive workshops, and demos in the DTLA Arts District. Here is where you RSVP’d to save your spot!
MakerWalk LA is made possible by a grant from LA2050. LA2050 is a community-guided initiative driving and tracking progress toward a shared vision for the future of Los Angeles. LA2050 was designed to inspire an outbreak of civic activism and to develop a roadmap to accelerate impact for our region. Through the MyLA2050 Grants Challenge and beyond, LA2050 deploys financial, human, and social capital with the help of hundreds of thousands of Angelenos to make LA the best place to LIVE, LEARN, PLAY, CONNECT, and CREATE.

Cartwheel Art: Tour host Steve Grody leads a graffiti and street art tour!

Steve Grody, Cartwheel Art tour guide, graffiti historian, documentarian, and author of Graffiti LA, will lead a graffiti and street art tour of the neighborhood. Tour participants will learn about the history of graffiti in Los Angeles and view some of the graffiti lettering, graffiti art, and street art pieces that make the DTLA Arts District so colorful.
