The MAKE IT IN LA initiative was inspired by a year-long study, which identified opportunities, underserved audiences, and potential programs to drive manufacturing in L.A. See some of the high-level findings of our study, told through charts and interactive maps.

The study comprised a survey of 1,600 businesses in L.A. County, CEO focus-groups and convenings, GIS analysis of 30,000 businesses self-reporting as manufacturers, and conversations with more than 100 manufacturing experts. The study was made possible by support from Dun & Bradstreet and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
