At charity: water, Lane was instrumental in helping the founder get the now iconic brand off the ground. He built a membership group that would fund the global operations of the organization and helped craft and tell their story to wider audiences. charity: water is now the largest clean water org in the country.

Lane joined Warby Parker as one of their first executives to help craft their brand narrative as a world-positive company. He was their head of impact for two years and was a key person for helping the brand find a place in the public narrative. Warby Parker is now valued at almost $2B.

Through his work at both charity: water and Warby Parker, he has traveled the globe to further the mission of the companies.

Lane was a Founder in Residence at a venture capital firm and is generally a well-connected person in the worlds of investing, global impact, consumer goods, entrepreneurship and creativity. He’s been consulting and advising founders for the last two years in Los Angeles.
